These “black box” heavy-duty power supplies for high-end industrial use provide for laboratory-quality DC output and feature 0 → 100% adjust and readback of voltage and current. High stability, low ripple and a multiple choice of digital interfaces make them suited to demanding and sensitive automated applications with heavy-duty loads. Manual output setting is via a graphic display with menu buttons and external control is via 0 → 10V analogue interface (or by a choice of digital interfaces available separately). The fully flexible ”autoranging” output allows usage either at high voltage or at high current within the nominal power rating. Typical applications are electronic components, -device or circuit testing, cycle and aging tests, electro-chemical processing, all controlled either by AD/DA converter card, PLC or computer interfaces such as RS232, USB, CAN, Ethernet or Profibus (freeware available for sequence testing).
